Around the World: Virtual Tour!🌍🌎

Travelling is one of the most wonderful and fun things to do. Getting to know other people and knowing other cultures and meeting new friends is all just part of the fun!!

Sadly due to these tough times we are not able to go to other countries or cities to enjoy our breaks and holidays from schools and work. So, from today we’ll be going on a virtual tour around the world in this new series called Around the world: Virtual Edition!!! Today’s destination is The United States of America!!!

Before beginning the tour, let’s have a brief look at some common knowledge about the USA. The United States of America is a country in North America consisting of 50 states. The neighbors of the USA are Canada and Mexico. The USA boasts of famous cities such as Los Angeles known for film-making and featuring the HOLLYWOOD sign. The currency of the USA is dollars and the current president is Donald Trump. Now let’s begin our tour!

During this tour, we’ll be visiting 5 famous tourist attractions!!

Attraction #1: New York

New York features the famous New York City or NYC; the most populous state of the USA. At it’s core is Manhattan which showcases iconic sites such as the Empire State Building and Central Park. A visit to NYC is no visit without going to Times Square where Broadway is staged. Another iconic site to visit is the Statue of Liberty in New York harbor and the Niagara Falls. The Niagara Falls are the second largest falls in the world and colors bathe the falls at night accompanied by fireworks occasionally.

Attraction #2: Arizona

Arizona features the Grand Canyon which is carved by the Colarado River and the colorful rock layers underneath record billions of years of history and hide many unique species. At the height of about approx. 2,600 feet (800 m) the Grand Canyon draws millions of visitors every year.

Attraction #3: Los Angeles

Los Angeles is the largest city of California. Near its iconic Hollywood sign, studios such as Paramount Pictures, Universal and Warner Brothers offer behind-the-scenes tours. L.A. is also home to many famous bands like the Eagles and Maroon 5.

Attraction #4: Florida

Florida is home to numerous fun and thrilling amusement parks and studios. Walt Disney World Resort, Magic Kingdom Park, Universal Studios Florida, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park and SeaWorld Orlando are some of the iconic attractions. The beaches of Miami are yet another fascinating attraction to visit.

Attraction #5: Hawaii

Hawaii is the only American State outside North America and it is the only island state. It’s capital Honolulu features the Diamond Head: the dormant volcano. Hawaii also boats a Hawai’i Volcanoes National Park and numerous beaches such as Maui. Also, don’t forget your colorful Hawaiian shirts and cute floral dresses when you go on a trip to Hawaii!!

That’s the end of our tour of the United States of America. These aren’t the only fascinating and beautiful cities in the USA. Other popular cities include Seattle, Dayton, San Francisco, Chicago, Miami, Connecticut, Las Vegas, Cuba and many more!
