Bookish Collab with Roshni ✨

Hey everyone! Welcome back to another post on What are you up to during Lockdown??

Today’s post is a Collab with Roshni from Roshni@It’s the little things

If you haven’t checked out Roshni’s blog already, be sure to check it out! It’s a wonderful blog and I love it!

So, for this Collab, we selected 5 bookish questions and each answered them. Here are Roshni’s answers to them! To see me answer, click at the link at the end of the post!

Question 1: What are your top 3 favorite books (or series) and why?

My favourite book series have to be Secret Seven, Harry Potter and Wings of Fire. Secret Seven because they were the first fiction books I ever read and I love adventure and the secret seven books are one of the things that shaped my personality ( I can’t explain how but… yeah, I grew up with them) and I have great emotional value attached to them . Harry Potter because it is AWESOME! Wings of Fire because as I said, I love adventure and that these books have a great plot. I like the suspense that is developed in the epilogue and how each book has a different POV.

Question 2: Who are your favorite characters from your top 3 favorite books?

My favourite character from the Secret Seven books is Janet. She is one of the main characters. My favourite character from Harry Potter is Luna Lovegood. I see myself in her. If you ever meet me in real life, you would know why. People think I’m weird but dude, I’m not. I’m just myself. That is exactly what Luna is, she is not afraid of being herself. From Wings of Fire, I like Tsunami a lot. She is like me. In the second book in which she is the main character, she tries to do something good but her plan doesn’t work and she and her friends, all land into trouble. This is me. Whenever I think “what I am doing is right”, the next second something happens and I realise that I am stuck and that I should not have done what I did. I am really bad at making decisions.

Question 3: What are your top 5 favorite quotations from books?

“But you know, happiness can be found even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.”

Albus Dumbledore, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban

“Wit beyond measure is man’s greatest treasure.”

Luna Lovegood, Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheonix

“We are all born with a divine fire in us. Our efforts should be to give wings to this fire and fill the world with the glow of its goodness.”

A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, Wings of Fire

“We realize the importance of our voices only when we are silenced.”

Malala Yousafzai, I Am Malala

No one has ever become poor by giving.

Anne Frank, Diary of a Young Girl

Question 4: If you had to read a single book (not a series) forever, which book would you choose and why?

I would choose I Am Malala by Malala Yousafzai. It is a really great book and one of my favourites. This book inspires me more than any other book can. I would like being inspired by this book forever.

Question 5: Do you like reading hard bound books or ebooks and why?

I like hard bound books over ebooks although both have their advantages, because ebooks can be bad for my eyes and they can be distracting.

Thank you all for reading and don’t forget to check out Roshni’s blog and my answers at her blog!

Have a great day and Stay safe! Let me know what are your answers to these questions in the comments!

Byee! ✨
