#Blogmas Day 8 🎄🎉 – Christmas Quotes!

Hey everyone! It’s December 8th and it’s time for Blogmas Day 8!

In today’s post, I’ll be sharing my top 5 favorite Christmas quotes from books!

One can never have enough socks. Another Christmas has come and gone and I didn’t get a single pair. People will insist on giving me books.

Dumbledore, Harry Potter by JK Rowling

The first one is definitely from Harry Potter! This is one of my favourites especially owing to the scene in which this conversation takes place: when they talk near the Mirror of Erised.

It was the beginning of the greatest Christmas ever. Little food. No presents. But there was a snowman in their basement.

The Book Thief, Markus Zusak

This is such a beautiful quote and tells us about how you don’t need a lot to enjoy Christmas. Christmas isn’t about how much food you have, or how many decorations you put up, it’s about how much love you put in in what you do for Christmas. Even a small snowman made with love can be the essence of a great Christmas!

Christmas is like candy; it slowly melts in your mouth sweetening every taste bud, making you wish it could last forever.

Smile Anyway, Richelle E. Goodrich

This quote captures the essence of Christmas so beautifully!

I will honor Christmas in my heart, and try to keep it all the year.

A Christmas Carol, Charles Dickens

The rooms were very still while the pages were softly turned and the winter sunshine crept in to touch the bright heads and serious faces with a Christmas greeting.

Little Women, Louisa May Alcott

I hope you enjoyed reading this post! Let me know in the comments which one was your favourite quote, or if you have a different favourite Christmas quote!

Have a great day ahead! Bye!
